Oolong Milk Tea Recipe
Ingredients to be used
- 2 tbsp Oolong tea leaves
- 1 cup of distilled water
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- A half-gallon of milk
- Ice cubes, ready for service
Instructions to be followed
- Place the water in a small pot on the stove and bring it to a boil. To bring the water to boil, the heat needs to be turned on to high with occasional stiring.
- Immediately after the water comes to a boil, add the oolong tea leaves and turn the heat down to a low simmer.
- After 5 minutes of simmering to absorb the flavour, add the sugar and milk to the pot.
- The milk to a saucepan while the flame is at the lowest and then turn off the heat completely. The content needs to be cold for which it has to be taken out in a jug and then it has to be set in the freezer.
- Remove all the oolong leaves once the jug is taken off the heat.
- The oolong milk tea tastes brilliant when it’s cold and the best way to serve it is in a glass filled with ice along with a straw.
